**Overcoming Temptation**

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
— 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NIV)

Temptation is an unavoidable part of the human experience. From the smallest desires to the most significant moral challenges, we are constantly faced with choices that test our commitment to our values and our faith.

1 Corinthians 10:13: "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

The verse from 1 Corinthians offers immense comfort and hope in the midst of this struggle. It reminds us that we are not alone in our temptations; they are common to all humanity. More importantly, it assures us of God's faithfulness.

Guided Prayer: Dear Lord, help us to take every thought captive and make it obedient to You.
