**The Call to Forgiveness**
“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins”
Forgiveness is a cornerstone of Christian living. It's about releasing bitterness and resentment, both towards ourselves and others. Forgiveness is not condoning wrong behavior, but choosing to let go of the hurt and anger that can consume us.
Matthew 6:14-15 reminds us, "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." This passage highlights the importance of forgiveness in our relationship with God.
Think about any unresolved conflicts or resentments you may be harboring. Who do you need to forgive, and what steps can you take to extend that forgiveness? Remember that forgiveness is a process, and it may require time and prayer.
Guided Prayer: Dear Lord, show if if there are any unforgiveness inside me, and lead me to forgive.
