**The Foundation of Faith**

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see
— Hebrews 11:1

We begin our journey with the cornerstone of our faith: belief. It's not just about acknowledging God's existence, but trusting in His promises and living according to His will. Faith is the anchor that keeps us steady amidst life's storms.

Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." This verse reminds us that faith isn't about having all the answers, but about trusting God even when we don't understand. It's about stepping out in obedience, knowing that He will guide our path.

Consider the areas of your life where you struggle to trust God. Are there situations where you rely more on your own understanding than on His guidance? What steps can you take this week to cultivate a deeper sense of faith and reliance on God's promises?

Guided Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to have faith even when I cant see your plan.
